Notifications
Sojourn keeps you informed with a notification system that delivers updates through three channels: in-app, email, and push notifications.
INFO
You must be signed in to receive notifications.
Notification Channels
| Channel | Description |
|---|---|
| In-App | Notifications appear directly within Sojourn, accessible from the bell icon |
| Receive notifications in your email inbox | |
| Push | Browser push notifications deliver alerts even when Sojourn isn't open |
Viewing Notifications
Look for the bell icon to access your notifications:
- Desktop — The bell icon is located in the sidebar. Click it to open the notification panel as a slide-out drawer.
- Mobile — A floating bell icon is displayed on screen. Tap it to open the notification panel as a bottom sheet.
Unread notifications are indicated by a badge on the bell icon. Once you open the panel, you can browse your recent notifications and mark them as read.
Managing Preferences
Customize which notification channels are active from Settings > Notifications.
Email Notifications
Toggle email notifications on or off. When enabled, you'll receive notification emails at the address associated with your account.
Push Notifications
Toggle push notifications on or off. When you enable push notifications for the first time, your browser will display a permission prompt — you'll need to allow notifications for them to work.
TIP
If you accidentally denied the browser permission prompt, you can reset it from your browser's site settings.
