Install the App

Sojourn works as a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means you can install it on your phone or tablet and use it just like a native app — with a home screen icon, full-screen experience, and offline support.

iPhone & iPad (iOS / iPadOS)

Sojourn must be installed using Safari. Other browsers on iOS (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) do not support PWA installation.

1. Open Sojourn in Safari
2. Tap the Share button (the square with an upward arrow) at the bottom of the screen
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
4. Optionally edit the name, then tap Add

Sojourn will appear on your home screen and open in full-screen mode without the browser toolbar.

TIP

If you don't see "Add to Home Screen" in the share menu, scroll down — it may be below the fold.

Android

On Android, you can install Sojourn from Chrome, Edge, or most Chromium-based browsers.

From the install prompt

Most Android browsers will show an install banner or prompt automatically when you visit Sojourn. Tap Install when prompted.

Manually from Chrome

1. Open Sojourn in Chrome
2. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner
3. Tap Add to Home screen (or Install app if available)
4. Tap Install to confirm

The app will appear in your app drawer and home screen, and will open in its own window without browser chrome.
